The Hamblin Vision Peace Day 2025 In-Person at Green Door. 11am - 1:30pm
The Hamblin Vision is excited to announce our annual tradition of marking the United Nations International Peace Day.
The event will take place on FRIDAY 19th SEPT, at The Green Door Centre in Bosham.
Our theme this year is: FORGIVENESS
We extend a warm invitation to you, your friends, and family to be join us in contemplation and reflection of the possibilities that arise when we allow peace to be an active force in our lives and in the world.
The morning will include:
Welcome & Introductions
Opening Meditation
led by Emma Owen-Smith of Green Door.
Emma will lead us in a short opening meditation as we explore what it feels like to observe the pain of injury, betrayal, hatred and anger and to make contact with the call to forgive and the power it holds.
Talk and Discussion: Why Should We Practice Forgiveness?
Led by Astra Ferro (Patron of The Hamblin Trust)
Break for Refreshments, teas, coffees and tasty bites!
Forgiving our mistakes and the mistakes of others - Led by Mike Jenkins. A contemplative reflection on forgiveness in Prayer.
Closing Meditation
This is one of our most popular events on the Hamblin Vision’s calendar, so make sure to reserve your place early.
There is NO CHARGE for attending, although we invite you to donate whatever you feel you can. Donations of any size are deeply appreciated and make a big difference in helping us continue our work of promoting a more peaceful world.
