Power of Thought

Power of Thought

HT Hamblin’s motto was: “If you change your thoughts, you change your life.”

This spring the theme of our magazine is Mastery of Fate.

HT Hamblin was at the forefront of the ‘New Thought’ movement, and his magazine The Science of Thought Review was one of the first of its kind. It has evolved into its present form as the Hamblin Vision magazine, which is free to members or can be purchased for a small cost either as a PDF download or print copy.

The Hamblin Vision offers regular talks, workshops and courses (live and recorded), on the power of our thoughts.

We need to know how to train and harness our minds in order to access the spiritual wisdom within us and around us, just waiting to be drawn from.

HT Hamblin became interested in the New Thought movement which emerged in the 1920s. He started writing courses on how to apply positive thought to everyday life, which he called ‘right thinking’ and published a magazine called ‘The Science of Thought Review’. His work was revolutionary at the time. He saw the application of ‘right thinking’ as a definite science with a measurable effect on the wellbeing of the person who practised it.

Our free PDF Thought, Form & Creative Imagination is an ideal introduction to the profound teachings of HT Hamblin on the subject.

The Affirmation Word Cloud is a handy tool which changes at the beginning of each month.

Make peace with everyday sounds in this gentle meditation. Sounds are happening around us all the time - be they the hum of a washing machine, the rumble of traffic, or roadworks on the street outside your window. Rather than waiting for perfect silence, discover how to include these sounds in your practice, using them as anchors rather than obstacles. We also explore the subtle, spacious gap between sound and silence. This meditation invites you to befriend your environment just as it is, and to find calm within in, not in spite of it.

HT Hamblin wrote two very popular popular books on the subject of the power of our thinking minds. The power of thought is one of the three fundamental pillars of his teachings, and of our work in continuing his legacy.

Thought is the basis of success and prosperity. This work is not about suppressing negative thoughts, which can be destructive, but transmuting them instead. Topics include overcoming fear and the effect of thought on health.
