The Hamblin Vision Peace Day 2024 In-Person at Green Door. 11am - 1pm
The Hamblin Vision is excited to announce our annual tradition of marking the United Nations International Peace Day.
The event will take place on FRIDAY 20TH SEPT, at The Green Door Centre in Bosham, between 11am and 1pm.
Our theme this year is: ACTIONS FOR PEACE.
We extend a warm invitation to you, your friends, and family to be join us in contemplation and reflection of the possibilities that arise when we allow peace to be an active force in our lives and in the world.
The morning will include:
Welcome & Introductions
Movement Meditation, sitting or standing - The Gestures of Peace
led by Emma Owen-Smith of Green Door.
Emma will lead us in a short movement meditation, as we travel the world and explore the gestures of peace from various cultures and traditions - a mindful and embodied expression of Peace in Action.
Talk and Discussion: What Does it Mean to Act in a Peaceful Way ?
Led by Astra Ferro (Patron of The Hamblin Trust)
Break for Refreshments, teas, coffees and tasty bites!
Committing to Peaceful Action - Together we share just one, practical action we can undertake regularly in our lives to contribute to a more peaceful world.

This is one of our most popular events on the Hamblin Vision’s calendar, so make sure to reserve your place early.
There is NO CHARGE for attending, although we invite you to donate whatever you feel you can. Donations of any size are deeply appreciated and make a big difference in helping us continue our work of promoting a more peaceful world.
